KRAWIETZ - VINIKOFF
Lynsey Franczeska Krawietz and Eric Kevin Vinikoff were united in the sacrament of marriage at 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, June 15, 2002 in Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in The Woodlands, Texas.
Father Charles Domec officiated the services.
Lynsey is the daughter of Leona and Carley Meadows of Jourdanton, Texas, and Peter and Carolyn Krawietz of Poth, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Irene and the late Thomas Kopecki of Poth and the late Margaret and Luke Krawietz, Sr., of Falls City, Texas and Melvin and Mary Ann Coldewey, of Poth.
Eric is the son of Linda Vinikoff of Jewett, Texas. He is the grandson of Maude Willis of El Paso and Esther Vinikoff and the late Dr. Maurice Vinikoff, formerly of El Paso.
Music was provided by Margaret Roccaforte of Conroe. She accompanied soloist Sandra Mullenax of Jewett and Connie Shiflet of Montgomery. Scripture readings were by Patrick Krawietz, the bride’s brother; and Joni Shaw of Pearland.
The bride selected a full-length strapless ivory peau satin creation by Private Label by Ginza featuring Alencon lace, which covered the entire bodice with a border of French Alencon lace with a cathedral train. To complete her gown, Lynsey chose a tiara of pearls and crystals with a double layer cathedral length veil, cascading with a corded edge in an inverted angel wing style. She wore an elbow length corded edge ivory veil with ivory comb for the reception. Lynsey’s jewelry was a Starowki antique crystal and pearl drop necklace with crystals and pearl drop earrings. The bride carried a hand-wrapped garden style bouquet with Virginia roses, porcelana roses, stephanotis and pearl centers.
Attending the bride was matron of honor Marilea James, of Rockwall. Serving as bridesmaid were Lisa Smith of Houston, Jenny Smith of College Station, Donna Hull of Marquez, Azure Krawietz of San Antonio, Erica Ortmann of Hempstead, and Lacey Farris of College Station. Each wore an Impressions Bridal orchid two-piece dress, with A-line floor length identical crepe skirts and individually selected coordinating tops and carried a hand wrapped mixed bouquet of bluebird, skyline and curiosa roses, pink zinnias, hydrangeas, alstromeria and other summer selections. Each wore crystal beaded necklaces and earrings, gifts of the bride.
Groomsmen were Ryan Thomas of Houston, Jeff Zientek of Jewett, Jason Schmidt of Dallas, Shane Ellison of Centerville, Patrick Krawietz of San Antonio, Keith Sutton of Jewett and Jim Salley of Marquez. Each wore a Jones of New York black tuxedo and boutonniere of stephanotis with pearl centers and accent springeri.
Flower girl was Brianna Sitton, daughter of Keith and Teresa Sitton of Jewett. Brianna wore a Mon Cheri ivory tea length creation with rusching. Ringbearers were Tobe and Kobe Zientek, sons of J.J. and Jeff Zientek, of Jewett.
Ushers for the occasion were Clint Adkisson of Jewett, Darren Bates of Corpus Christi, Shayne Clardy of Buffalo, Scott Noey of Marquez and Chris Pesel of Austin. The ringbearers and ushers were attired in Jones of New York tuxedos.
A reception, dinner, and dance were held at Havens Landing in Montgomery, Texas. Entertainment for the afternoon and evening was provided by Diamonds Productions, programmed by Eric’s brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Dawn Alvarado of Waco.
The bride’s cake was set beneath a lighted lattice and tulle gazebo. The four-tier white confection with crème, strawberry, and pineapple fillings was graced by two satellites with cake toppers of satin ribbon matching the bridesmaid’s dresses. The groom’s cake was a carrot cake with crème cheese frosting creating a football field with chocolate dipped strawberry footballs. A Texas A&M ice sculpture adorned the tables where bar-be-que brisket, sausage, and all the trimmings were served. The house party included Ann Williams of Marquez and Lauren Waclawczyk of Floresville.
The Grand March was led by Tammy and Danny Sullivan of Rowlette. The couple’s first dance was the Sammy Kershaw’s "You Are the Love of My Life".
Special guests included the groom’s grandmother, Esther Vinikoff of St Louis, Missouri’ Herb and Itta Hyman of St. Louis; Cherie Browne of Cleremont, Florida; Robin Vinikoff of Arizona; and Ryan and Jocelyn O’Neal of Washington D.C.Yoshihisa Matsuda of Kyoto, Japan was also in attendance.
The couple left in a white limousine, amid bubbles and rose petals. The couple honeymooned at Sandals Resort in the Bahamas and are now residing in Magnolia, Texas.
The bride is a Leon High School, Jewett, graduate and a 2000 Texas A&M University graduate. She is employed with ChevronTexaco in Houston as a member of the internal audit department.
The groom is also a graduate of Leon High School and is a 1999 graduate of Texas A& M University. He is a coach and teacher at Montgomery High School.
Rehearsal Dinner
Wedding rehearsal for Lynsey Krawietz and Eric Vinikoff was held on June 14, 2002 at 6 pm at Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in The Woodlands, followed by a fajita buffet held at Havens Landing in Montgomery, Texas. Toasts by the wedding party made the evening memorable. Guests of Havens Landing Resort enjoyed swimming and outdoor activities after the buffet.
