Melissa Ann Perry and Dr. Trent Glen Mason were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Moundsville, with the Rev. Patricia Bentley officiating.
Parents of the bride are Randy and Vickie Perry of Holt, Fla., and the late Carol Perry of Charleston.
Parents of the groom are Wayne and Anita Mason of Glen Dale.
Wendy Collins was matron of honor. Wayne Mason, father of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Ingrid Swisher, Renee Vaughn, Jada Tate, Missy Guzek, Jason Boyd, Jeremy Dunlap, John Riggle, Justin Hughes, Jeymi Swisher and Olivia Swisher.
A reception was held at Ernie's Esquire Supper Club, Bethlehem.
The bride is a 1989 graduate of Poca High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Charleston with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed at Reynolds Memorial Hospital as nurse manager of the obstetrics unit.
The groom is a 1989 graduate of John Marshall High School, a 1994 magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of arts degree in biology and a 1998 graduate of West Virginia School of Medicine with a doctor of medicine degree. He completed a family practice residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in 2001. He is a family practice physician in Moundsville.
After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Glen Dale.
