Mr. and Mrs. Michael Curry of Coleman and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Withers of Lubbock would like to announce the marriage of their children, Tammy Linnae Curry and Cory Allen Withers.
The Wedding Ceremony was held outdoors at Apple Country Apple Orchard in Idalou, Texas on June 9, 2001. The reception was also held at Apple Country immediately following the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The maid of honor was Melissa Payne, friend of the bride from Coleman, Texas. Bridesmaids were Janet Curry, sister of the bride, Coleman, Texas, Kori Smith, Coleman, Texas, and Michelle Brinkley, Abilene, Texas, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Jordan Leblanc of Lubbock, Texas and the ring bearer was Tyler Williams of Coleman, Texas. Best Man was Jarrod Huse, of Lubbock, Texas and Groomsmen were Brooks Chriesman, Tim Gruntmeir, and Hayden Huse, all from Lubbock, Texas.
Those helping serve in the houseparty were Jamie Cowart, Tamara Millner, Carolyn Withers, Deanna Pippins, and Courtney Meurer. Registering guests and passing out miniature bubbles were Sheresa Withers of Slayton and Chelsea Chance of Aztec, NM.
The Groom's Parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Apple Country Apple Orchard in Idalou, Texas, on June 8, 2001.
Tammy was honored with a bridal shower on April 7, 2001 at the First Coleman National Bank Clubroom. The hostesses were Melissa Payne, Janet Curry, Kori Smith, Michelle Brinkley, and the ladies of Concho Baptist Church. She was given an outdoor garden shower in Lubbock on May 27, 2001 hosted by Melissa Payne, and Jamie Cowart. A lingerie shower was held on May 26, 2001 hosted by Melissa Payne.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Moore of Coleman and Mr. and Mrs. O.V. (Cotton) Curry of Flora Vista, New Mexico. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. & Mrs. Johnny Withers and Mrs. Bill Perkins and the late Mr. Bill Perkins. Tammy and Cory each have one younger sister, Janet Curry of Coleman and Sheresa Withers of Lubbock.
Tammy is a sophomore student at Texas Tech University and is currently employed by Childress Photography Studio in Lubbock. Cory is employed by Llano Logistics of Lubbock.
For their honeymoon, the couple flew out of Dallas and spent 8 days and nights in Cozumel, Mexico. They have purchased a home and plan to live in Lubbock, Texas.
