Donald and Mary Frances Lee

Donald and Mary Frances Lee of Boyd celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 22, 2010, with dinner at Sweetie Pies in Decatur.

Donald Lee and the former Mary Frances Swann were married Dec. 23, 1960, in Sanford, Fla.

They moved to Texas in 1972.

They have a daughter, Sheree Lee Zimmer and husband, Shawn Garrett, of Blue Mound; a son, David Lee and wife, Tammy, of Boyd; grandchildren LisaMae Zimmer and husband, Daniel Dunn, William Zimmer 2nd and wife, Megan, Amanda Zimmer and Sarah Lee; and great-grandson Nolan Dunn.

Donald is a retired parts manager and electrical engineer and a U.S. Army veteran.

Mary Frances is a homemaker and enjoys genealogy.

Both are involved in Bible studies.
