Van Poppel to wed Vargas
Kate van Poppel, 25, and Jesse Vargas, 24, both of Brookshire will marry at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2003 at the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Community in Katy.
Kate is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo van Poppel and Jesse is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gonzalo Vargas.
The wedding will be followed by a reception at the Pavilion at the Austin County Fair Grounds in Bellville.
The couple, both graduates of Royal High School, have planned a road trip to Miami, Florida for their honeymoon.
