Howarth - Rahi
Sonia Renee Rahi and Dustin Kent Howarth were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Patrick Condron officiating the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Assad and Chamse Rahi of Wheeling.
Parents of the groom are Terry Howarth of Washington, Pa., and Linda Howarth of Eighty Four, Pa.
Alicia Peklinsky and Adele Storm, sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor. David Martin and Neil Boyer served as best men.
Other attendants were Missy Callow, Jill Maloney, Tina Rahi, Nicole Peklinsky, Kylie Rahi, Kayla Rahi, John Mahramus, Brian Fredericks and Tim Tracy.
A reception was held in the Music Room at Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy, Wheeling.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Wheeling Park High School, a 1996 cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in recreation and a 2002 graduate of West Virginia University with a master of business administration degree. She is employed by Nationwide Appraisal and Title Services, Canonsburg, Pa., as a performance improvement specialist.
The groom is a 1987 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, a 1991 summa cum laude graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a 1997 graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with a master of science degree in sustainable development and conservation biology.
After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, the couple will reside in Bridgeville, Pa.
