Kal, Wilma Finigan wed 50 years

HAMBURG — Kal and Wilma Finigan celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with family, friends and members of their wedding party at The George Inn in McAfee.
The couple were married June 22, 1957, in the Hamburg Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. John P. Kuehl.
Gail Specht was matron of honor for her sister, and Wilson Decker served as best man.
They were attended by Mary Perry Hocking, Frances Rude, Regina Day, Marjorie Finigan, Pamela Van Ness, William Hocking, Jack Rush, Harold Decker, Jesse Predmore and Joseph Nemeth.
They have four children, Cathy Hoit, David Finigan, Nancy VanHorn and Brian Finigan.
They also have 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Kal Finigan retired from Ames Rubber Corp. after 25 years and began an electrical business.
He has since retired from that as well.
Wilma Finigan retired from Ames Rubber after 35 years of service.
