Nowickis married 50 years

ANDOVER TWP. — Leonard and Alberta Nowicki recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married at Sacred Heart Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on April 28, 1956.
The occasion was celebrated with a party given by their four children, Roberta Andres, Cynthia Wilgus, Len Nowicki and Kathleen Nowicki.
Also attending were their eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and many family members and close, long-time friends.
Mr. Nowicki was a carpenter employed by Pella Windows in Fairfield for 30 years before his retirement.
His wife worked in the accounting department of Condit Ford in Hampton for 10 years, and for other businesses in the area.
The Nowickis are members of Our Lady of the Lake R.C. Church in Sparta.
