Bennetts married 40 years

HAMPTON — The Lafayette House was the setting for a party celebrating the 40th anniversary of Thomas and Darlene Bennett of Hampton.
The dinner party, for family and friends, was given by their son, Robert, and daughter-in-law, Kelly Bennett, of Exeter, Pa.; and their daughter, Heidi, and son-in-law, Kevin Gallagher, of Ogdensburg.
The Bennetts have four grandchildren, Andrew and Jamie Bennett, and Patrick and Ryan Gallagher.
The couple were married on Sept. 17, 1966, at the Ogdensburg Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. Joseph McCord.
The Bennetts are going to continue their celebration on a trip to Scottsdale, Ariz. in October.
