DiFalcos celebrate 50 years

HARDYSTON — Santa and Mario DiFalco of Crystal Springs celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 3.
Santa Lucia and Mario DiFalco met on Palm Sunday, March 18, 1951.
The Morristown residents were married five years later, on Saturday, June 3, 1956, at St. Margaret Church of Morristown.
They celebrated their 50th anniversary by renewing their vows at St. Margaret Church.
The bride's father, 92-year-old Peter Lucia, again walked his daughter down the aisle.
The DiFalcos were then the guests of honor at a surprise reception given by their children and grandchildren at the Casa Bellisima restaurant in Andover.
The event was attended by family, friends, and members of the original wedding party, including maid of honor and best man.
The couple continued their celebration on a Carib-bean cruise with their daughters Marisa and Mari-anne, son Mario, daughter-in-law Jennifer and grandchildren Gina, Frank and Theresa Mobilio.
