Hansen-Lord marry for Sunday, October 5, 2003
Jessica Ann Hansen and Ernest Fletcher Lord III were married at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at the Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock by the Rev. Steve Hancock.
The bride is the daughter of Gail and Steve Trolinger of Bentonville and John Frank Hansen III of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She is the granddaughter of Joan Bien of Boynton Beach, Fla., and the late John Bien; John Hansen Jr. of Ocala, Fla., and the late Shirley Hansen; and the late Lonnie Hansen.
The groom is the son of Diane and Ernest Fletcher Lord Jr. of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Tommye and William Davis Jr. of Little Rock, and the late Marion Crow and Ernest Fletcher Lord, also of Little Rock.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, John Frank Hansen III, and her stepfather, Steve Trolinger. She wore an ivory silk mikado gown by Romona Keveza that featured a scalloped, off-the-shoulder neckline and bell-shaped sleeves in French Alencon lace. The Aline skirt fell into a cathedral-length train, and she wore an ivory tulle veil that fell to elbow length.
She carried a clutch-style bouquet of Black Magic and Bacarra garden roses, handtied with ivory ribbon.
Stephanie Hansen of Ocala, Fla., and Emily Trolinger of Bentonville, both sisters of the bride, served as maids of honor.
Bridesmaids were Holly-Beth Lyons of Little Rock; Conley Golden and Katherine Lord, both sisters of the groom of Little Rock; Ashley Hickman of Springdale; Jessica Phillips of Rogers; Jane Askins of Fort Worth, Texas; and Tiffany Bush of Memphis, Tenn.
The attendants wore strapless, tea-length dresses of douppioni silk with matching sashes. They carried clutch-style bouquets of ivory roses, hand-tied with ivory ribbon.
Ernest Fletcher Lord Jr., father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were John Hansen IV, brother of the bride of Fort Lauderdale; Alex Golden IV, Bob Barnett and Andy Rogers, all of Little Rock; Mark Levin of New York City; Matt Christie of Fayetteville; Travis Welch of Texarkana, Texas; and Scott Wimmer of High Point, N. C.
Piper Hansen, sister of the bride of Ocala, Fla., was flower girl.
Seating the guests were Martin Bynum of Fayetteville; and Yancy Craig, Matt Deuschle and Scott Nelson, all of Little Rock.
Music was provided by organist Betty Marshall Gibson.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Country Club of Little Rock.
The bride holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas. She is employed as a stylist at Chakras Spa by Panache in Greensboro, N. C.
The bridegroom holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas. He is employed as a team manager and pit crew member with the Bill Davis Racing’s Busch Grand National Race team.
After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple will live in Jamestown, N. C.
