Ellises observe anniversary for Sunday, August 10, 2003
R. J. and Sue Ellis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 16 with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their home.
All family and friends are welcome. Cake and punch will be served.
The couple were married Aug. 19, 1953, at the University Baptist Church in Wichita, Kan.
They have two children, Edwin James Ellis of Sedgwick, Kan., and the late Marna Sue Ellis.
They have one grandchild, the late Jeremy James; five step grandchildren; and eight step-great grandchildren.
