Latimer-Newell wed for Sunday, June 15, 2003
Tamara Denise Latimer of Rogers and Travis Allen Newell of Bentonville were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2003 at the Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell by Dr. Gary Barrell.
The bride is the daughter of Benny and Elaine Latimer of Rogers.
The groom is the son of Larry and Sandra Newell of Damar, Kan., and Bob and Marlene Dyke of Bentonville.
Jaime Smith of Little Rock served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kuffa Bergant of Boulder, Colo., Olivia Bunch of Fayetteville, Mandy Clark of Rogers and Alyson Washburn of Dallas, Texas. Junior bridesmaids were Kelsee and Kenslee Etheredge of Bentonville.
Jarred Crabtree of Bentonville served as best man. Groomsmen were Shane Newell, brother of the groom, of Springdale, Danny Grider of Rogers, Shawn Newell, brother of the groom, of Bentonville and Travis Lee of Fayetteville.
Emily Efird, cousin of the bride, was flower girl, and the ringbearer was Brody Frig.
Ushers were Chris Latimer, brother of the bride; Jeff Ward; Cory Hammerschmidt; and John Dyke.
Guest-book attendants were Lesley Parker and Heather Newell.
Music was provided by soloist Mickey Rapier and pianist Denise Rapier.
The bride wore a white Aline gown of Italian matte satin underneath an elegant layer of English netting by Casablanca. The bodice and spaghetti straps sparkled with tiny sequins which flowed in a floral pattern into a natural waistline. The bodice, waistline and chapel-length train were complimented by scalloped lace and shimmering crystals. She wore a twotiered elbow-length veil of illusion with a soft rolled edging.
The bride is employed with Northwest Arkansas Pediatric Therapy Services.
The groom is employed with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
The couple live in Bentonville.
