Couple mark 50 years for Sunday, December 15, 2002
Gary and Ruth Mailes of Bella Vista will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 24.
The couple were married on Dec. 24, 1952, at the First Baptist Church of Las Cruces, N. M., while Gary was serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Bliss, Texas.
The couple have two children, LeAnn Leon of Jenks, Okla., and Mike Mailes of Highlands Ranch, Colo.
They have seven grandchildren.
To celebrate the occasion, the Mailes will join their children and grandchildren on a Caribbean cruise.
