Couple celebrates anniversary for Sunday, November 10, 2002
Mavis and Wayne McClain of Bentonville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 8.
The couple were married Nov. 8, 1942, in Plainview, Texas.
They have four sons, Bill McClain of Garfield, David McClain of Tahlequah, Okla., Doyle McClain of Charlottesville, Va., and Stephen McClain of Bentonville.
They have eight grandchildren, Kari Riggins, Clint Mc-Clain, Scott Baker, Jamie Ligi, Laura McClain, Jessica Mc-Clain, Michael McClain and Carolyn McClain; and seven great-grandchildren, Dakota Riggins, Granger Riggins, Remington Riggins, Stockton Riggins, Zachary Ligi, Devin Ligi and Lou Ligi.
