Witt-Lenda marry for Sunday, November 10, 2002
Melinda Witt and JonPaul Lenda, both of Bentonville, were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at the New Life Fellowship in Rogers by Minister Tim Wallace.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Wimpee of Phoenix, Ariz., and Roger and Leslie Witt of Kennard, Texas.
The groom is the son of Larry and Sharon Byrley of Bernice, Okla.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Roger Witt. She wore a beaded and sequined, floor-length, Vneck sheath, featuring a satin underlay; long sleeves of beaded lace; and a detachable, cathedral-length satin train with lace appliqués.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses.
Shaila Witt, sister-in-law of the bride of Rogers, served as matron of honor. Corey Stover of Sparta, Mo., served as bridesmaid.
The attendants wore black satin, sleeveless, floor-length dresses.
David Byrley, brother of the groom of Bernice, Okla., served as best man. B. J. Witt, brother of the bride of Rogers, served as groomsman.
The groom wore a black tuxedo with tails, a white shirt and a white bow tie. The other men wore black tuxedos, white shirts and black bow ties.
Seth Adams and Branden Adams, sons of the bride, served as junior groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the New Life Fellowship Church, hosted by Sharon Byrley and Leslie Witt.
The bride is employed in the human resources department of Community Publishers Inc.
The groom is employed with Precision Siding.
After a wedding trip to Eureka Springs, the couple will reside in Bentonville.
