Hodges-Matherly wed for Sunday, November 10, 2002
Kathy Hodges of Bentonville and Todd Matherly of Rogers were married at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at the Bentonville Church of Christ by Minister Dean Bryce.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Countess Hodges of Bentonville.
The groom is the son of Nick and Fay Matherly of Cabool, Mo.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Charles Hodges. She wore a full-length white satin gown, featuring a cathedral train and a bodice embellished with sequins and pearls. She wore a satin-edged, twotiered shoulder-length veil. She carried a bouquet of coral roses, yellow lilies, larkspur, kang yell, foxtail fern, bells of Ireland and hypericum berries.
Brenda Beckloff of Van Buren, Ark., served as maid of honor. Cara Lank of Searcy, Ark., served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Liz Mc-Cowan of Tyler, Texas, Sherry Miller of Cabool, Mo., and Melissa Halford of Bentonville.
The attendants wore slate gray floor-length organza dresses accented with selfcovered buttons down the back.
Brad Miller of Cabool, Mo., served as best man. Groomsmen were Russ Hufstelter and Ryan Halford, both of Bentonville, Craig Hood of O’Fallon, Mo., and Kelly Gentry of Kansas City, Mo.
Ushers were Kirk Collier of Canyon, Texas; and Alan Epler, Greg Bryan and Derek Ridenhoure, all of Bentonville.
The men wore black tuxedos and textured black satin vests.
Logan Miller, nephew of the groom, served as ringbearer.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Sterling House in Bentonville, with assistants Wendy Collier, Elena Rhodes and Michelle Collier.
The bride holds a bachelor of science degree in fashion from Harding University in Searcy, Ark. She is employed as a product developer with Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
The groom holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He is employed as a buyer with Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple will reside in Rogers.
