The Boutyards
Mr. and Mrs. Ward C. Boutyard of Martinsburg, W.Va., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Oct. 25, 1997, at Bavarian Inn in Shepherdstown, W.Va.
The celebration was shared with family and friends.
The Boutyards were married Aug. 25, 1947, in Hagerstown.
Mrs. Boutyard is the former Dorothy Ross, daughter of Ruth Cloud and the late Wilson Ross.
She is retired from C&P Telephone Co.
Mr. Boutyard is the son of the late William and Clara Boutyard.
He is a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Naval Team in China known as "SACO."
He is retired from the U.S. Postal Transportation Service.
They have two grandchildren.
