The Pryors
Ralph and Lucille Pryor of Chewsville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997, at Four Points Sheraton Inn in Hagerstown.
The celebration was hosted by their daughter and son-in-law Judy and Gerald Anders of Smithsburg, their son Ronald Pryor and his fiancee, Paula Witman of York, Pa., and their son and daughter-in-law William and Diane Pryor of Greencastle, Pa.
The Pryors were married Aug. 8, 1947, at the parsonage of Methodist Church of Smithsburg by the Rev. G.M. Shriner.
Mrs. Pryor is the former Lucille Flory, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy L. Flory of Shady Grove, Pa.
She is a homemaker.
Mr. Pryor is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell S. Pryor of Smithsburg.
He is a retired plumbing contractor.
They have 7 grandchildren.
