The Carbaughs
Mr. and Mrs. Scott Carbaugh of Hagerstown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, at Mountain Gate Restaurant in Waynesboro, Pa.
The celebration dinner was hosted by their children and families, Blaine Carbaugh and Ecile Shaw of Hagerstown, Roxanne Coe of Gapland and Deborah Holtzman of Smithsburg.
The Carbaughs were married Sept. 18, 1937, in Hagerstown by the Rev. G.I. Rider.
Mrs. Carbaugh is the former Mildred Everly.
Mr. Carbaugh retired from Columbia Gas of Maryland with 40 years of service.
They have nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
