Kendrick - 40th
Mr. and Mrs. J. Robert Kendrick Sr. of Monroe City will celebrate their 40th wedding annivesary with a reception, hosted by their children, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 11, 2001, at the Monroe City Nutrition Center.
Barbara Ruth Redman and Joseph Robert Kendrick Sr. were united in marriage on Nov. 11, 1961, at the old Holy Rosary Church in Monroe City.
The Rev. Thomas Mohan officiated. Attendants were Joey Hagan and Judy Osbourne Hagan.
Mrs. Kendrick is the daughter of Mary Lucille Robinson Redman of Monroe City and the late R.E. Redman.
Mr. Kendrick is the son of Kenneth Leo and Maude Helen Long Kendrick of Monroe City.
They are the parents of eight children, Joe Kendrick and Kim Kendrick, both of Monroe City, Richard Kendrick of Harrisonville, Celeste Kendrick of Ashland, Brad Kendrick and Sara Kendrick, both of Philadelphia, and Brian Kendrick and Kelly Kendrick, both of the home.
They have eight grandchildren.
Mr. Kendrick has been employed by Intermet since May 1978. Mrs. Kendrick is a housewife.
They are engaged in farming outside of Monroe City and operate Kendrick's Small Engine Shop from their home.
Friends and relatives are invited to the reception.
