Brandy Schmidt and Travis Kitzan were united in marriage Saturday, August 7, 2004 during a 5:30 p.m. double ring ceremony at the First Congregational Church, Dickinson.
The bride is the daughter of Bonnie Schmidt and Todd Schmidt, Hebron and the groom is the son of Randy and Brenda Kitzan, Richardton.
Rev. Larry Oul officiated at the ceremony. Soloist and flutist was Kristen Ling. Jenna Wiege was pianist.
Floral decorations and the bride's bouquet were handcrafted by Darlys Walth, the bride's grandmother.
Her father gave the bride in marriage.
She wore a beaded organza dress featuring a v-shaped halter neckline with center inserts that met the empire seam beaded with scattered rhinestones.
The beading pattern encircled the skirt and wrapped around onto the chapel length train.
She carried a sphere shaped pompadour bouquet of burgundy and white roses.
Robin Berger served as maid of honor. She wore a burgundy floor length gown, which featured a haltertop.
Bridesmaids were Roxane Walth, Kayla Kottre, Tashawa Weiand, Danielle Zentner and Summer Berger.
Cordell Walth served as best man. Groomsmen were Zack Palmer, Bradley Schmidt, Eric Kitzan, John Walth and Ryan Kitzan.
Taylor Schmidt was ring bearer and Victoria Kitzan was flower girl. She wore a white floor length gown with spaghetti straps.
Ushers and candle lighters were Wade and Mark Kottre.
Bonnie Schmidt, the mother of the bride, wore a black sleeveless tea length dress, which featured a draped neck with a handkerchief hem skirt.
Brenda Kitzan, mother of the groom, wore a silver tea length dress with a black lace jacket. The dress featured a high/low hemline.
Following the wedding a hors d'oeuvre and cake reception was held at the Knights of Columbus in Dickinson.
Hostess couples were Cary and Jacque Kitzan and Nick and Kelly Weiand.
Steven Maershbecker presented a slide program. Music for the dance was provided by disc jockey, K Hook.
Julie Wanner was in charge of the guest book and cake cutters were Bobbi Isaak and Laura Leingang.
Videographer was Gary Biffert and Bailey Isaak and Kelsey Weiand served the punch.
Lori Kottre pinned on the flowers and Shannon Boone was the bride's personal attendant.
The bride is a graduate of the Hebron High School and is employed as a CNA at the Richardton Health Center.
The groom is a graduate of the Richardton High School and is employed as a welder at Steffes Manufacturing, Dickinson.
