Brooke Lea Barton and Curtis Gordon Brown, both Fargo, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Dennis and Darlene Barton, Jamestown, and Dennis and Linda Brown, Cavalier, N.D.
Barton is a 1994 graduate of Jamestown High School.
She graduated from Northwest Technical College, East Grand Fork, Minn., with an associate’s degree in occupational therapy assistant program.
Brown is a 1993 graduate of Red River High School.
He is a graduate of University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, N.D., with a bachelor’s degree in financial management and business management.
He is currently a manager trainee at Menards, Fargo.
A June 9, 2001 wedding is planned at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown.
