Jana Marie Beck and Robert Allen Kurth were united in marriage Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church, Wheeling, with Dr. Herbert Steffy of Tiffin, Ohio, officiating the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Lamont and Rita Beck of St. Clairsville.
Parents of the groom are Lee and Barbara Kurth of St. Clairsville.
Shaye Lynn Beck and Kelsey Christine Beck, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Kelly Kurth and Scott Kurth, brothers of the groom, served as men of honor.
Other attendants were April Leiffer, Meredith Santschi, Erin Cornwell, Rusty Gartner, Adam Muretisch, Dave Lutsko, Kelly Carey, Ryan Wason, Ames Eckstein and Melody Doudna.
A reception was held at Osiris Temple, Monument Place, Wheeling.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2003 graduate of Heidelberg College with a bachelor of music in education degree. She is employed as a middle school music teacher with the Barnesville School District and teaches private voice and piano lessons.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2003 graduate of Heidelberg College with a bachelor of music in education degree. He will complete a year-long internship with Campus Crusade for Christ in Columbus. He intends to pursue work in the field of music education.
After a wedding trip to Amelia Island, Fla., they will reside in St. Clairsville.
