Robert and Juanita Buchanan of Weirton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, April 3, 2004.
They were united in marriage April 3, 1954 at Wellsburg First Christian Church with the Rev. Walter Bingham officiating.

Buchanan is retired from Weirton Steel Corp. with 41 years of service.
They are the parents of four children, Bob of Granger, Ind.; Linda of Columbus; Patty of Pickerington, Ohio, and David of Sharpsburg, Ga. They have six grandchildren.
They celebrated with a Caribbean cruise and family dinner given by their children.
