Wedding
Amanda Jean White became the bride of Daniel Joseph Brunette at 5 p.m. October 19, 2002 at Southside Baptist Church in Hannibal. The Rev. Alvin Young officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth A. and Brenda G. White, of Hannibal, and the groom's parents are Mark and Sue Brunette, Howell, MI.
Maid of honor was Sarah Hall, Kansas City, MO. Bridesmaids were Becky Aylor, Hannibal; and Carole Vadovich, of Howell. The best man was Steve Weaver, Brighton, MI, and groomsmen were Robbie White, brother of the bride of Hannibal; and Matt Rogers, Howell, MI. Christy Ledbetter of Hannibal was the organist.
Cousin of the bride, Brittney Bartlett, served as flower girl. She is the daughter of Mike and Shelly Bartlett of Hannibal.
Ring bearer was Nicholas Billings, cousin of the bride and son of Shane and Alicia Billings, Lexington, MO.
Rebbeca Billings, daughter of Shane and Alicia Billings; and Mariah Elam, cousin of the bride and daughter of Aaron and Lisa Elam, Pleasant Hill, MO, were in charge of the rice bags.
Candlelighters were Drew Elam, cousin of the bride and son of Aaron and Lisa Elam; and Michael Brunette, nephew of the groom and son of Kenneth and Angelia Brunette, Boulder, CO.
Haley Brunette, niece of the groom and daughter of Kenneth and Angelia Brunette, was a rice bag girl, and tended the guest book. Flower arranger and wedding coordinator was Kathy Marshall, Hannibal.
A reception was held at the Lions Club in New London. Music was by Andy Sherman.
Cake servers were Karen Elam, aunt of the bride, Kansas City; and Pauline Horton, Howell, MI, aunt of the groom.
The rehearsal dinner was at the Pirate's Cove in Hannibal.
The bride graduated from Hannibal High School in 1998 and Long View Community College, Lee's Summit, MO, in 2001 with an Associate in Arts degree. She is employed by Metropolitan Title and Staples.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Howell High School in Howell, MI. He is currently a student at Washtenaw Community College in Howell. He is employed by Home Depot and Staples.
After a wedding trip to Ohio, the couple is making their home in Brighton.
