The Horsts

Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Horst of Berkeley County, W.Va., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Sept. 22, 1996, at a dinner reception at Antrim House Restaurant in Greencastle, Pa.

Their seven children and their families attended Sunday services with the couple at Falling Waters Presbyterian Church in Hedgesville, W.Va., prior to the reception in honor of their anniversary.

The Horsts were married Sept. 18, 1946, by Pastor Luther L. Hare at St. Paul's Lutheran Parish in Clear Spring.

Mrs. Horst is the former Madalyn Miles, daughter of the late Gardner and Evelyn Miles of Clear Spring.

Mr. Horst is the son of the late Otho and Anna Horst, also of Clear Spring.

The Horsts are farmers.
