Mr. and Mrs. Frederick W. Williams, formerly of Peachtree City, announce the marriage of their daughter, Shelly Christine, to Seth Robert Peters, son of Ronald J. and Ingrid Peters, formerly of Peachtree City.
The wedding took place April 24, 2004, at the Windermere Club in Blythewood, S.C.
The Rev. John Weber of Peachtree City and the Rev. Eleanor Russey of Rincon officiated.
The bride is the granddaughter of William E. Williams and the late Alice Williams, formerly of Atlanta, and Polly Biddle, of Columbia, S.C.
A recent graduate of Emory University, she works as a director of a center for supplemental education in Atlanta.
The groom is the grandson of Joseph Peters and the late Merna Peters, of Portage, Wis., and the late Robert and Erma Belcher of Sacramento, Calif.
He is employed as a wine consultant in Atlanta.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Jennifer.
Flower girls were Kaela Grubbs, niece of the groom, and Hannah Penson, daughter of a friend of the bride.
Ron Peters, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Travis Williams, brother of the bride, and Jonathan Biddle, cousin of the bride.
After a honeymoon to Charleston, S.C., the couple will reside in Roswell.
