Wulfs to celebrate 60th anniversary
Alvin and Lillie Wulf of Kennard, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.
The celebration is hosted by the couple's children - Karen, Ronald, Roger and Michael, and their nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend.

(Obituary of Lillie Wulf: "Lillie A. Wulf, 96, of Kennard died on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Crowell Home in Blair. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the German Cemetery. Lillie A. Wulf was born February 18, 1916, to Carl and Anna (Bergman) Puls. She was raised on a farm near Bennington. She attended grades 1 through 8 at Dornacker School, attended grades 9 and 10 at Wranch School, and graduated from Bennington High School. On December 5, 1938, she married Alvin Wulf at Columbus. They lived on the farm their entire lives, having moved to the Kennard area in 1958. She enjoyed farm living, feeding her birds, raising three kids and being Alvin's partner for 70 years. She had a strong faith in the Lord. The couple joined Emmaus Lutheran Church in 1948. She was the oldest member of the congregation. She taught Sunday School, Bible School, went to Circle meetings and attended all church activities. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Dickey of Omaha; sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald of Kennard and Robert and Deborah of Omaha; one grandchild, Michael of California; two step grandchildren, Tamara and Matthew of Omaha; and three step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, in 2009; two brothers and four sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Emmaus Lutheran Church, the German Cemetery or the Kennard Rescue Squad.")
