Kuhrs to celebrate 25th anniversary
Mark and Julie Kuhr of Blair will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the American Legion in Blair.
Friends and relatives are invited to the celebration hosted by their children, Tera, Matt and Joel.
The couple was married on Dec. 7, 1973, in South Dakota.

(Obituary of Mark Kuhr: "Mark Owen Kuhr, 57, of Blair, died Friday, June 7, 2013, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, from complications of cancer. He was surrounded by his family. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 2 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Kennard Cemetery. Mark Owen Kuhr was born February 22, 1956, in Omaha, the fourth son of Marty and Euny Kuhr. He was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Blair. He graduated from Blair High School in 1974 and went on to become a mason by trade, last working for Pedersen Masonry. On December 7, 1973, he married Julie Stewart in Elk Point, S. D., and to this union three children were born, Tera, Matthew and Joel. He loved hunting and fishing and especially loved taking his great-nephews and great-nieces with him. He valued the time spent with family playing cribbage and card games. He especially enjoyed taking his dog, Belle, and granddog, Max, for rides around town, down to the river, and on long walks around Black Elk-Neihardt Park. He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Tera Kuhr; sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Miranda Kuhr, Joel and Rachael Kuhr; and the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Madelyn, Myles and Mosley Kuhr; his father, Marty; brothers, Tim (Lois) Kuhr of Washington, Utah; Denny (Kristin) Kuhr of Peachtree City, Ga., and Rolland (Elaine) Kuhr of Jackson, Wyo.; in-laws, Joe and Nina Stewart and Lynn and Vern Wulf, both of Blair; plus many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Euny; his in-laws, Joe and Jane Stewart; and his sister-in-law, Rita Halligan.")
