Larsen - Seevers

Shannon Kay Larsen and Timothy Alan Seevers, both of Sioux Falls, S.D., were married July 25, 1998, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cook, Minn.

Rev. Marcus Hess officiated at the double - ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Frank and Ardyce Larsen of Mankato, Minn., and Gary and Thelma Seevers of Blair.

John Geiselman of Cook, Minn., is the bride's grandfather.

The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore an Italian satin gown.

The scoop - neck, sleeveless, pearl - beaded lace gown with a princess - styled skirt featured a chapel length train.

She carried a bouquet of white roses and yellow mums, accented with blue and white garden flowers and blueberries.

Karla Schaefbauer of Sioux Falls was the maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Shelly Sorenson of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Kathy Hennessey of Quantico, Va.; and Jen Miller of Fargo, N.D.

They attendants wore butter - colored long sheath gowns of chiffon draped over silk with draped cowl collars.

They carried bouquets of yellow, white and blue garden flowers with blueberries.

The bridegroom's brother, Phil Seevers of York, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Paul Seevers of Omaha, brother of the groom; Tim Barner of Omaha and Scott Johnson of St. Paul, Minn.

Ushering the guests were Rob Hennessey, Pete Sorenson and Broc Halseth.

The bridegroom, groomsmen and ushers wore black tuxedos and yellow rose boutonnieres.

Teresa Pohl served as the bride's personal attendant.

Brenda Tibbits played the organ and Todd Olson sang.

An outdoor reception followed at the Lucky Eleven Hunting Lodge, Cook, Minn.

The bride and bridegroom are graduates of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, where the bridegroom was a member of the Coyote football team.

The couple work for State Farm Insurance as members of their catastrophe team.

They live in Sioux Falls.
