He earned an associate's degree from Harold Washington Community College in Chicago and is working toward a bachelor's degree form Columbia College.
He is a draftsman for Stone Source.
Mark Johnson of Chicago, a friend of the bridegroom, was the best man.
There will be a reception April 4 at Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha.
