Wrich Anniversary
Ray and Betty Wrich of Blair will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by going on a Carribbean cruise, which leaves Feb. 14, their wedding day.
There will be a family gathering Feb. 28 at Anthony's restaurant in Omaha.
Hosts for the event will be their children, a son Henry and his wife Connie of Kennard; a daughter Alyce and son-in-law Dan Watts of Mesa, Az.
The Wrichs have two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

(Obituary of Betty Wrich: "Betty J. Wrich, 84, of Blair, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at Country Bible Church in Blair. Interment will be at 1 p.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Elkhorn. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Betty Jane Wilke was born Oct. 14, 1926, in Bennington to Henry and Emma (Rohwer) Wilke. She was a lifelong resident of Washington County, farming with her husband, Raymond Wrich, in the Kennard area. The couple was married in February of 1948. She is survived by a son, Henry Wrich of Blair; daughter and son-in-law, Alyce and Dan Watts of Mesa, Ariz.; grandchildren, Matt Ives, Lakeside, Ariz., and Jennifer and Jeff Beam, also of Mesa; two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Hannah Beam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 2003; two brothers, Raymond and Henry Wilke; and daughter-in-law, Connie Wrich. Memorials are suggested to Country Bible Church.")
