Cindy Hansen and Troy Clausen are engaged to be married Aug. 30, 1997, at First Lutheran Church in Blair.
A reception will follow at the Rybin Building at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Arlington.
The bride - to - be is the daughter of Dick and Lorraine Hansen of Blair.
She is the granddaughter of Leona Hansen and Laura Lorsch, both of Blair.
She is a 1993 Blair High School graduate.
She earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Midland Lutheran College in 1997.
She is a registered nurse at Memorial Community Hospital.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Syd and Janice Clausen of Arlington.
He is the grandson of Mildred Lantefield of Fremont.
He is a 1990 graduate of Arlington High School.
He graduated from South East Community College in Milford with a degree in farm diesel mechanics.
He is employed by Arps Red-E-Mix in Blair.
