Ashley Suzanne Hornbrook and Robert William Russell Wells were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. May 25, 2002 at First Christian Church, New Martinsville, with the Rev. William C. Flewelling officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of William and Linda Hornbrook of New Martinsville.
The groom is the son of Rick and Debbie Wells of Middlebourne.
Christy Gilbert, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Jim Wells, brother of the groom, was best man.
Other attendants were Sarah Moss, Chris Ball, Jodi Richardson, Brian Cortellessa, Lisa Maurer, Jason Weese, Alicia Hinerman, Brandyn Gilbert, Alexander Gilbert, Devin Moore and Jasmine Moore.
A reception was held at River's Edge, Sardis.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 2002 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Tyler Consolidated High School and a 2001 graduate of State Fair Community College in Missouri. He served four years in the Air Force. He serves in the Air Force Reserves. He is employed by Consol Coal Co. as an industrial engineer.
After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Wheeling.
