wedding vows June 28
Rachael Martin and Jeremy Wilcox were married June 28, 2003, at the Moravia Church of the Nazarene, Moravia. The Rev. Terry Chapman officiated.
Parents of the couple are the Rev. Kenneth and Carol Martin of Moravia and Richard and Diana Wilcox of Bloomfield.
Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Jessica Strand, pianist Julie Jackson, soloists Lydell and Sunny, Kevin and David Martin.
The bride's matron of honor was her friend Ginger Wood. Bridesmaid was Jessica Strand, sister of the groom. Karrissa Martin, niece of the bride, was a junior bridesmaid.
The best man was Craig Johnson, friend of the groom. Also attending the groom was Scott Davis, uncle of the groom.
The flower girls were Kendra Martin, the bride's niece and Taylor Holman, the groom's cousin. Kyle Martin, the bride's nephew, was the ring bearer.
Ushers were Donald Strand, brother-in-law of the groom, Timothy Reph, cousin of the groom, Michael Bailey and Jerry Pruessner, friends of the groom. Candlelighters were Dustin Jackson and Ryan Davis, cousins of the groom. Kim Martin, sister-in-law of the bride, was the bride's personal attendant. Janai Johnson, friend of the couple and Wendy Davis, cousin of the groom had the guest book.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Joy Martin, Rowene White, Tonya Holman and Shirley Davis assisted at the reception.
Following a honeymoon to the coastal town of Lincoln City, Oregon, the couple is making their home at 102 E. Poplar Apt. 3, Bloomfield, Iowa.
The bride attended Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. The bride is currently employed with First Resources in Bloomfield.
The groom is a graduate of Davis County High School in Bloomfield and has a degree in Drafting Technology from Indian Hills Community College in Centerville. The groom is currently employed with Southern Iowa Electric Cooperative of Bloomfield.
Out of state guests were from Virginia, Washington, Ohio, Kansas, and Missouri.
