Couple will observe 50th anniversary
Jack and Beverly Woolard of Bloomfield will observe their 50th wedding anniversary.
Jack Woolard and Beverly Gregerson were married Oct. 2, 1953, in the Fireplace Room of the Bloomfield Christian Church with the Rev. Fred Sawyer officiating.
The rest of the church was not yet completed at the time.
Attending the couple were Joe Woolard, brother of the groom, and Anna Marie Korsen Colbert.
Parents of the couple were Paul and Gladys Woolard and George and Pearl Gregerson.
They have resided in Davis County and Bloomfield their entire married life.
They have no children.
Beverly retired from teaching after 37 years in the classroom.
Jack retired from industrial sales and service in the poultry processing industry.
The couple started Memory Lane Antique Mall in Bloomfield in 1988 and retired from that business in 1996.
No formal celebration is planned but they would appreciate cards, which may be sent to them at 1009 Morningside Drive, Bloomfield, IA 52537.
