Mr. and Mrs. Roy Elmo Lee of Bowling Green will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on April 29, 2009, with a family gathering.
Lee and the former Eufema Mae Eadens were married April 29, 1944, in Franklin.
They have six children, Delores Buchanon and her husband, Bob, Mike Lee and his wife, Marylan, Kenney Lee and his wife, Marla, Cindy Kimbler and her husband, Doug, and Kevin Lee and his wife, Mima, all of Bowling Green, and a deceased child, Barbara Lee.
They have 10 grandchildren, David Buchanon, Deborah Brewer, Amanda Reiss, Laura Burnham, Stephen Lee, Nathan Lee, Megan Lee, Lucas Kimbler, Joshua Kimbler and Samuel Lee.
They also have three great-grandchildren, Emily, Vanessa and Titus Brewer; and two more great-grandchildren expected this summer.

(Obituary of Roy Elmo Lee: "Roy Elmo Lee, 83, of Bowling Green, died Dec. 5, 2010, in Bowling Green.
The Warren County native was born March 7, 1927. He was retired from Detrex and farming. He was a loving husband of 66 years and a father, a grandfather and a great-grandfather who cherished his family. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran and a member of Eastside Church of Christ. He enjoyed being outdoors and working on his farm. He was a son of the late Roy Calvin Lee and Ethel Florence Keen Lee. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Kaye Lee; three brothers, Bobby, Julian and James Lee; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla Rae Brewer. Funeral is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to American Alzheimer’s Association.
