Joyce and David Steffe
David and Joyce Steffe, Topeka, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 25, 2004 with a card shower.
They also plan to celebrate with a future weekend in Kansas City with their family.
Joyce Larsen and David Steffe were married June 25, 1954, at the Methodist Church in Quimby, Iowa.

(Obituary of David Steffe: "David Neale Steffe of Topeka, KS, formerly of Sergeant Bluff, IA, passed away on November 13th, 2011 at Rolling Hills Care Facility at the age of 77. He was born on September 7, 1934 in Moville, Iowa to Hilburn Steffe and Lucille Hane Steffe. He graduated from Moville High School in 1952 and joined the Iowa Air National Guard. He was married to Joyce Karen Larsen in 1954. They farmed for several years before moving to Arnolds Park, Iowa, where David continued to farm and later worked for Berkeley Fisheries. David loved to fish, watch KU sports and enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up. David is survived by his wife Joyce, daughter Linda Steffe of Topeka, daughter Kathleen Fox of Topeka and son Steven Steffe of Topeka, grandchildren Christopher Fox of Kansas City, KS and Whitney Fox of Los Angeles CA. He is also survived by five brothers Hilburn Jr. (Mary) of Sioux City, Iowa, Harlan (Fairy) of Moville, Iowa, Dirl (Shirley) of Rapid City, So Dakota, Leslie Steffe (Marilyn) of Athens, GA, and Steven Steffe of Plainview, TX. Two sisters Beth Lau (Duane) of Correctionville, IA and Lisa Smouse of Sioux City, IA, many nieces and nephews and his faithful cat Fraser. His parents and a granddaughter, Margie Ann Fox in infancy, preceded him in death. We are happy that our husband, father, and grandfather has gone on to meet the Lord and that he is free from his physical suffering. Psalms 23: He leadeth me by the still waters. He restoreth my soul. David's family thanks the caring staff at Rolling Hills Care Facility for their compassionate care while he lived there. Visitation will be at 10:00 Friday morning with the service to follow at 11:00 at the Methodist Church in Moville, IA. Burial will follow at the Good Hope Cemetery in Correctionville, IA.
