Frances and Milton Ferguson
Milton and Frances Ferguson, Oklahoma City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception June 19, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Silver Lake.
Milton Ferguson and Frances Kirkwood were married June 6, 1954, at Bethel Community Church about 16 miles north of Topeka, the church where they first met in 1949.
The reception was hosted by their children and grandchildren, Bruce and Laura Ferguson and daughter Alexandra, Topeka, and Bryan and Ginny Ferguson and sons Brandon and Matthew and daughter Brittany, Oklahoma City.
Mr. Ferguson worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for nine years and retired in 1989 from Fleming Cos. after 28 years of service.

Mrs. Ferguson worked for Southwestern Bell for 11 years.
After several other part-time jobs, she retired to be a homemaker in 1986.
