Louise and Levi Lee Sr.
Louise and Levi Lee Sr. of Topeka celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Levi Lee and Louise Fisher were married March 12, 1943, in Topeka.
Mr. Lee was employed at the Santa Fe Shops for 35 years before he retired in 1982.
Mrs. Lee was employed in the dietary department at Memorial Hospital until she retired in 1989.
Their children are Sandra McCormick, Levi Lee Jr. and Wayne Lee, all of Topeka, and Roxann Quinn, Del Ray Beach, Fla.
They have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

(Obituary of Levi Lee: "Levi Vernon Lee, Sr., 86 passed on February 11, 2008 at a Topeka hospital. He was born on February 8, 1922 to Frank P. Lee, Sr. and Hester A. Thompson in Topeka, Kansas. His parents and one daughter, Melissa Hester Lee preceded him in death. He married Louise Fisher on March 21, 1943. She survives. He retired in 1982 as a Carman with the Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of Second Baptist Church, a Deacon and member of the Men's Chorus. He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Levi Lee Jr, Wayne Lee both of Topeka; two daughters, Sandra McCormick, Topeka, Roxann Qinn, Del Ray Beach, Florida; two brothers; Walter T. Lee, Topeka, G. Winston Lee, Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, Dorothy Mansker, Ruth Green both of Topeka; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
