The groom is the son of Jorge Lopez and Maria Iturra of Santiago, Chile. He is the grandson of Bernarda Contreras. Fabian is a graduate of La Concepcion High School, Santiago, Chile, Tacoma Bible College, Tacoma, WA, with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and is currently studying for a M.A. in Theology from Luther Rice University, Lithonia, GA. He is employed as a legal translator and English teacher at Wall Street Institute, Santiago, Chile. The bride was escorted and given in marriage by Ed Maier. The bride's honor attendant was her sister, Elizabeth Hilary Maier of Palo Alto, CA.
A reception was held at Hosteria San Jose, San Jose de las Virtientes, Santiago, Chile.
The couple resides in Santiago, Chile.
