Pat and Allen Kemble
Allen and Pat Kemble, Carbondale, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner today.
Pat Haas and Allen Kemble married Sept. 19, 1952, in Carbondale.
They met as teens at the Carbondale dance hall.
Their children are Stuart and Denise Kemble, Topeka; Bryan and Carolyn Kemble, Carbondale; Keyta and Mike Kelly, Jarbalo; Susan and Steve Bessette, Carbondale; Anne and Kurt Kluin, Chanute; Eric and Barb Kemble, Carbondale.
Their grandchildren are Andrea and Jennifer Kemble, Topeka; Jessica Kemble, Topeka; Scott Kemble, Hutchinson; Rachel, Kait and Garrett Kelly, Jarbalo; Josh Bessette, Topeka; Sarah Harrison, Emporia; Emily and A.J. Bessette, Carbondale; Robert Kluin, Topeka; P.J. Kluin, Chanute; T.J. and Dakota Kemble, Carbondale.
Their great-grandchildren are Shelby Kemble, Topeka, and Samantha Bessette, Topeka.
Mr. Kemble is president of Drywall Construction Inc., where he has been employed for 46 years.
Mrs. Kemble is a homemaker.
