Hilary and Ruth Hawkins
Hilary and Ruth Hawkins, Marysville, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Tuesday with a card shower.
Hilary H. Hawkins and Ruth Wolfe were married Sept. 17, 1932, in Marysville.
They farmed near Axtell until they retired in 1979 and moved to Marysville.
Their children, Shirley Haley of Topeka and Dick and Norma Hawkins of Summerville, S.C., will host a family dinner Sept. 29 in honor of their parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins have five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
