Beverly and Harold Daily
Harold and Beverly Daily, rural Topeka, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner for family members and friends on Sept. 7, 2002 at Aboud's at Western Hills.
Harold Daily and Beverly Pendleton were married Sept. 13, 1952, in Holton.
Their two children and spouses are Gary and Claudia Daily, Topeka, and Gayla and Michael Noel, Overland Park.
They have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Daily retired in 1985 from DuPont as a resource supervisor after 27 years of service.
Mrs. Daily is beginning her 50th year as a homemaker.

(Obituary of Harold Daily: "Harold Daily Harold Daily, 90, Topeka, passed away March 3, 2017. Harold was born in 1926 in Horton, Kansas to Floyd Daily and Elizabeth Kidd. Harold's mother died when he was eight years old and his father remarried to Martha Titus. Harold was the oldest of 13 children and has long been the patriarch of the family. His large family has always been a source of enjoyment and pride to him. Harold graduated from Holton High school in 1945. He joined the Army at the end of World War II serving in Europe. During Harold s tour of duty he was able to attend the Nuremberg trials. Harold attended Kansas State University for two years and was a life-long Wildcat fan. He met the love of his life, Beverly Pendleton, in Holton, where they married in 1952. They have lived in Topeka for most of their life including 64 years of marriage. Harold worked for DuPont for 27 years and retired in 1985. Harold was a Boy Scout leader and served as a volunteer at Doorstep and Let's Help for many years. Harold enjoyed fishing, golf and carpentry. He built a beautiful house, which he and Beverly lived in for years after they retired. Harold is survived by his wife Beverly of the home; children, Gary Daily (Claudia) of Topeka, Gayla Noel (Mike) of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, Joseph Noel of Seattle, Washington, Kyle Daily of Topeka, Thomas Noel of Kansas City, Missouri, Hannah Saenz (Lee) of Ward, Colorado; and great-grandson Kerian Daily of Topeka. Harold was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Daily. Harold s care and concern for others and love for his wife will continue to inspire us and live in our memories. Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Countryside United Methodist Church, 3221 SW Burlingame Road, Topeka KS 66611, with funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
