Anne and Harold Hula
Harold L. and Anne Hula of Topeka will observe their 50th wedding anniversary today with a family celebration hosted by their sons and their wives, Chris and Kathy Hula, Lawrence, and Kevin and Susan Hula, Baltimore.
A future vacation trip to Branson, Mo., with their children and four grandchildren is planned.
Harold L. Hula and Anne Marie Siemers were married June 24, 1951, at First Presbyterian Church in Blue Rapids.
Mr. Hula retired in 1994 from Washburn University, where he was director of counseling and associate dean of academic affairs. He had worked for Topeka Public Schools as a teacher, counselor and an administrator from 1956 to 1965.
Mrs. Hula was a teacher/librarian who retired in 1993 after teaching 34 years at Ozawkie Rural High School and in Topeka Public Schools.
