Stan and Reva Purcell
Santford "Stan" and Reva Purcell of Tecumseh will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family celebration today.
Santford Purcell and Reva Warren were married June 27, 1941, in Lawrence.
Their daughters and their husbands are Sandy and Steve Deever, Wakarusa, and Susan and Tony Bell, Scranton.
The couple have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Purcell retired in 1985 from Whelan's after 36 years of service.
Mrs. Purcell retired in 1984 from Kansas Van & Storage/Mayflower Van Lines after 24 years of service.

(Obituary of Reva Purcell: "Reva Purcell Reva Isabel Purcell, 98, Topeka, Kansas, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018, in the House at Midland Care. Reva was born July 22, 1920, in Vassar, Kansas. She was a graduate of Topeka High School in 1939. On June 27, 1941, Reva and Santford "Stan" M. Purcell were united in marriage in Lawrence, enjoying 70 years together prior to his death on July 3, 2011. Reva was a long-time member of First Lutheran Church but more recently was a member of Auburn United Methodist Church. She was a bookkeeper for Kansas Sand and Mayflower Moving and Storage. She was an avid bowler, liked to fish, camp and travel. Reva loved her family and enjoyed attending all the grandchildren's events. Grateful to have shared her life are her daughters, Sandra Deever (Steve), Auburn and Susan Bell (Tony) Scranton; grandchildren, Drew Deever (Kim), Marc Deever (Lynn) and Christine Bell; great-grandchildren, Chase and Kenady, Tate and Tallie and Connor, Meagan, Serenity and Noah. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614, where her funeral service will be on Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Midland Care Hospice or Auburn United Methodist Church, sent in care of the funeral home.")
