Laurel and Jim Bryan
Jim and Laurel Bryan of Scranton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 28, 2001 at the Scranton Covenant Church hall.
Jim Bryan and Laurel Johnson were married Jan. 27, 1951, in Burlingame.
Their daughters are Dawn Carnes, Carbondale; June Bryan, Eau Claire, Wis.; and Laurie Spencer, Orlando, Fla.
The couple farmed in the Scranton area for 49 years until they retired in 2000.
They request no gifts.
