Cooper 50th Anniversary
GRAMPIAN — Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Arlene) Cooper of Grampian celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 3, 2005 at the Luthersburg Community Center with family and friends.
They were married July 2, 1955, at St. Joseph’s Rectory in Renovo by the Rev. Charles Hipp.
He retired from Consolidated Natural Gas after 41 years of service.
She was a tax collector for 32 years.
They have three children: Joan, Carlene (deceased) and Charles (deceased); three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In the fall 2004 the Coopers went on a cruise to Nova Scotia with a group of her classmates to celebrate their anniversary and also her 50th class reunion.
