Keys 50th Anniversary
HAZEN — Mr. and Mrs. Charles Keys of Hazen will celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary May 28, 2005.
Charles “Pat” Keys and Jean Morrison were married May 28, 1955, in Brockway, by the Rev. Harvey M. Smith.
He is a veteran of the Korean War.
He retired from Brockway Glass in 1994 after 38 years of service.
She was a homemaker and a secretary for Brockway Glass, Carmalt Realty and Good Shepherd United Methodist
Parish.
They have four children: Michael Keys and Matthew Keys of Hazen, Paula Park of Emerickville and Patti Jo Keys of Toledo, Ohio, and six grandchildren.
Their family is hosting an open house at the Warsaw Township Firehall in Hazen from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2005. Family and friends are invited.

(Obituary of Jean Keys: "Jean M. Keys passed over on June 2nd, 2017. She was the youngest child of Charles and Effie (O'Harrow) Morrison, born on February 11th, 1935. She attended Brockway Schools. Jean worked as a secretary for Brockway Glass, Carmalt Real Estate, and 20 years for the Good Shepherd United Methodist Charge. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school, Lay Speaking, knitting, country music, and spending time with family. She was a member of the Allens Mills United Methodist Church. Jean married her best friend, Charles "Pat" Keys, on May 28th, 1955 and had four children, Mike, Matt, Paula, and Patti Jo. She is survived by her husband, Pat, of 62 years, a sister LaRue Podmore, of Dallas, PA, her sons Michael and Matthew (Gloria) Keys, and a daughter Paula (Scott) Park, all in Hazen. Six grandchildren, Sarah, Michelle, Stephen, Levi, Amanda, and Sean and two great-grandchildren Laura and Elliott. Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Patti Jo, her parents, three brothers, Dale, Perry, and Les Morrison, four sisters, Billie Denworth, Ruth Heatherdale, Glendora Forsyth and Bonnie Siple. We will be celebrating Jean's life at Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home in Brockway on Tuesday, June 6th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Her service will be at Allens Mills United Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 7th at 1 p.m. with Reverends Joni Williams and Don Henderson officiating. Friends will be received an hour before the service. Jean will be laid to rest at Temple Cemetery in Hazen.
